Our Commitment to Resource Recirculation
Our Commitment to Resource Recirculation Image

Multilac has taken proactive measures to implement robust Resource Recirculation systems, affirming our unwavering commitment to sustainable practices and responsible resource management. These initiatives encompass a range of innovative strategies, including reuasing, recycling and transforming waste into valuable by- products.

One key facet of our Resource Recirculation efforts pertains to the efficient handling of solvents employed in the cleaning of production vessels and machines. These solvents are meticulously collected and categorised based on colour specifications. They are then subsequently reintegrated into our production processes, forming an integral component of new production batches. This approach not only increases resource efficiency but also significantly reduces the need for new solvent acquisition, thus diminishing our environmental footprint.

Further, our commitment extends to the responsible treatment of wastewater generated during our operations. Through a dedicated water treatment plant, we process waste water to ensure its compliance with stringent environmental standards. Treated wastewater, rather than being discarded, is then repurposed for use in plantations, effectively harnessing its inherent value while reducing its environmental impact.

Multilac has also embraced recycling as a means to optimise resource usage. Waste cardboard materials, for instance, are diligently recycled and repurposed to craft cardboard corners, specifically designed for tile packing. This practice not only diverts water from landfills but also yields valuable by-products that find utility within our operations.
