1. General Surface Cleaning
- Ensure the surface is:

2. Surface Preparation by Substrate
- For Metal Surfaces:
- Remove rust, scale, or old paint using sandpaper, a wire brush, or abrasive blasting.
- Clean with a solvent or degreaser.
- Apply Multilac Zinc Phosphate or Red Oxide Metal Primer.
- Allow it to dry completely before top coating.

- Sand with fine-grit sandpaper (220–320) along the grain.
- Fill any cracks with Multilac Wood Putty.
- Apply Multilac NC Wood Primer or a white basecoat for better sparkle brightness.
- Re-sand and clean before applying gold paint.
- For Masonry / Plaster Surfaces:
- Remove dust and loose particles with a brush or vacuum.
- Repair cracks with filler and allow to cure.
- Prime with Multilac Water-Based Wall Primer or Acrylic Sealer.
- Ensure the surface is smooth for a uniform glitter effect.
3. Final Dusting

- For enhanced brilliance and glitter reflection, use a white or light-coloured basecoat under Multilac 24K Glitter Gold Paint.
