1. Suitable Surfaces
- Interior surfaces such as:
- Cement plaster.
- Concrete.
- Brick walls.
- Gypsum boards.
- Previously painted masonry surfaces.
2. Clean the Surface
- Remove all:
- Dust, grease, oil, soot.
- Loose or flaking paint.
- Algae, mildew, or fungal growth.
- Use a brush, mild detergent, or fungicidal wash if needed.
- Rinse thoroughly and allow to dry completely.
3. Repair Surface Imperfections
- Fill:
- Hairline cracks, holes, dents, and uneven areas using Multilac Acrylic Wall Filler or Putty.
- Allow to dry and sand smooth.
- Remove dust after sanding.
4. Ensure Dry and Cured Surface
- New cement/plaster must cure for at least 28 days.
- Surface should be dry, clean, and firm.
- Moisture content: below 12%.
5. Priming (Recommended)
- Apply one coat of Multilac Water-Based Wall Primer – Interior:
- Ensures uniform absorption.
- Improves topcoat adhesion and finish.
- Allow it to dry for 4–6 hours.
6. Application of Multilac Premium Sheen Emulsion
- Stir thoroughly before and during use.
- Apply 2 coats using a brush, roller, or airless spray.
- Drying Time:
- Touch dry: 30 minutes.
- Recoatable: 2–4 hours.
- Coverage:
- 110–130 (160 – 180) sq.ft per litre per coat (depending on surface texture and porosity).
