1. Check Surface Condition:
- Ensure surface is dry, firm, and fully cured (minimum 28 days for new plaster).
- Surface must be free from dampness and cracks.
2. Clean Thoroughly:
- Remove dirt, dust, algae, fungus, grease, and flaking paint
- Use a wire brush, scraper, or pressure wash.
- For biological growth, treat with Multilac Anti-Fungal Wash and allow to dry.
3. Surface Repairs:
- Fill any holes, cracks, or imperfections using Multilac Exterior Wall Putty.
- Let repairs cure and sand smooth for evenness.
- Priming:
- Apply 1 coat of Multilac Weather Guard Primer Sealer.
- Allow it to dry for 4–6 hours.
- Primer ensures better adhesion and colour holdout for deep shades like Jet Black.
- Application of Jet Black Emulsion:
- Stir the emulsion thoroughly before and during use.
- Apply 2 coats using a brush, roller, or airless spray.
- Maintain a drying time of 4–6 hours between coats.
- Ensure uniform spreading to avoid patchiness (especially with black/dark colours).
- Drying Time:
- Touch Dry: 30 minutes – 1 hour.
- Recoating: After 4 – 6 hours.
