1. Surface Suitability
- Suitable for:
- Interior plastered walls.
- Concrete.
- Cement renderings.
- Wallboards (e.g., gypsum).
- Previously painted masonry surfaces.
2. Initial Surface Cleaning
- Remove all:
- Dust, grease, oil, stains
- Loose or flaking paint
- Mildew or fungal growth
- Use a mild detergent solution or clean water and a brush.
- If fungal/algal contamination is present, treat with a fungicidal solution, scrub, rinse well, and allow to dry completely.
3. Repair Surface Defects
- Fill all:
- Holes, cracks, dents, and imperfections using Multilac Acrylic Wall Filler or Putty
- Allow filler to dry thoroughly
- Smooth the sand and remove sanding dust with a dry cloth or brush
4. Ensure Dry and Cured Walls
- New masonry or plaster surfaces must be allowed to cure for 28 days
- Moisture content should be below 12%
5. Priming (Recommended)
- Apply a coat of Multilac Water-Based Wall Primer – Interior.
- Seals porous surfaces.
- Enhances adhesion.
- Provides uniform absorption for the topcoat.
- Allow the primer to dry completely (4–6 hours under normal conditions).
6. Application of Multilac Luxury Promise Emulsion
- Stir thoroughly before and during use.
- Apply 2 coats using a brush, roller, or airless spray.
- Drying time:
- Touch dry in 30 minutes.
- Recoatable in 2–4 hours.
