1. Surface Cleanliness:
- The substrate must be dry, clean, and free from contaminants such as:
- Dust, dirt, grease, oil.
- Fungal or algal growth.
- Loose particles, old paint, or coatings.
2. Surface Strength:
- Ensure the surface is sound and firm.
- Weak or crumbling surfaces must be repaired before application.
3. Cleaning Methods:
- Use a wire brush, scraper, or mechanical abrasion for cleaning.
- For heavily contaminated surfaces, use water jet cleaning or chemical treatment if necessary.
4. Repair Work:
- Fill large cracks, holes, or voids with suitable Multilac Crack Filler or repair mortar.
- Allow the patchwork to fully cure before applying the putty.
5. Moisture Control:
- Substrate must be completely dry.
- Avoid applying to damp or water-saturated surfaces.
6. Primer Application (if required):
- For very absorbent or porous surfaces, apply Multilac Waterproofing 2K Sealer as a primer coat.
- Allow primer to dry fully before applying the putty.
7. Mixing Instructions:
- Mix Component A (Base) and Component B (Hardener) in the recommended ratio.
- Stir thoroughly using a mechanical mixer to form a uniform, lump-free paste.
8. Application Conditions:
- Ideal surface temperature: 10°C to 35°C.
- Avoid direct sun, rain, or strong wind during and after application.
